After failed attempts, the St. Louis Blues and two-time Stanley Cup winner Brandon Saad, 32, are mutually terminating his contract. Saad will now be a free agent.

The St. Louis Blues announced on Jan. 29 that forward Brandon Saad will be placed on unconditional waivers for the purpose of terminating his contract. This was after the veteran forward cleared regular waivers.
