Officials have till date avoided assigning any specific reason for derailment . Tej Prakash Agarwal, divisional railway manager at Agra Division of North Central Railway stated that all facts were being examined.

The derailment has blocked three rail lines, and further information about the situation is being accessed by officials. Nearly 500 workers have been deployed for the job of clearing the tracks, officials said.

LUCKNOW: At least 20 coal-laden wagons derailed near Vrindavan, disrupting train operations between the national capital and Mathura.

With the restoration of one of the railway lines, rail traffic between Delhi and Mathura that was disrupted due to derailment of a goods train has started, officials said on Friday.

The goods train derailed in Mathura's Vrindavan causing a blockade of the route towards Delhi. Nearly 15 trains have been affected due to the derailment.
