For the 2025 NFL season, the Eagles will face teams from the AFC West and NFC North, two of the best divisions in the NFL this season. At least five of the eight teams are playoff bound, and just four of the Eagles’ 13 opponents in 2025 had a losing record this season. Among them are the 7-10 Dallas Cowboys, who will get Dak Prescott back.

The Philadelphia Eagles icon joined ESPN's Sunday NFL Countdown and got the chance to weigh in on the Cowboys' uncertain situation at head coach.

As he embarks on the final game of the 2024 season, Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy said he hasn’t held any discussions with the front office regarding his future. During a Friday conference call, McCarthy noted he expects to meet with team owner and general manager Jerry Jones after the season as he’s done the previous four seasons.

Cowboys cornerback Troy Pride ($5,198) and wide receiver Jalen Brooks ($5,083) were fined for unnecessary roughness. Eagles cornerback Sydney Brown received a similar penalty, but was fined $6,981 for his role in the scrum.

Jalen Brooks and Troy Pride were ejected for their actions; now they’ll be docked pay, too. Three other Cowboys also incurred big fines.

The Dallas Cowboys hosted the Washington Commanders in their Week 18 season finale on Sunday from AT&T stadium. Despite a close effort, the Cowboys fell short to their NFC East rival 23-19 and concluded the 2024 season with a 7-10 record.
