Trump’s Jan. 6 pardons will free 4 New Jerseyans from prison, cancel 9 pending cases
The pardons came via executive order that commuted the sentences of 14 high-profile Jan. 6 convicts, none of whom were from New Jersey, and granted the rest — well over 1,500 people — a “full, complete and unconditional pardon,” or dismissal of their pending case. The order also frees anyone in prison for a Jan. 6 crime.
