The CBI on Friday told the Kolkata Court that more suspects have emerged during the investigation of Rape-murder case and their call records and other details are being investigated to certain their role in the crime.

The Sealdah court has sent former RG Kar Medical College principal Sandip Ghosh and Tala police station officer Abhijit Mondal to CBI custody until September 25. They are accused of evidence tampering in the rape and murder case of a trainee doctor.
