Nick Nurse didn’t spend much time trying to reconcile a timeline of Joel Embiid’s foot injury that doesn’t appear to make much sense.

Coach Nick Nurse stated Embiid is day-to-day and that has not changed, but Nurse did say he did not practice on Tuesday putting his status for Wednesday's matchup with the Washington Wizards in question. Nurse also gave updates on Kyle Lowry, Andre Drummond, and KJ Martin who all missed Monday's contest.

The 76ers will remain a shell of themselves when they face the New York Knicks Wednesday night at the Wells Fargo Center. Joel Embiid, who has been struggling with a sprained left foot, is one of six Sixers who will remain sidelined.
