Salt Lake City launched a new program to place plaques at specific sites that highlight a significant historical event, person or place in the city, but it's looking for help identifying sites.

Rent is considered "affordable" if it makes up less than 30% of the renter's income, according to the Redfin real estate company.

The public safety plan will increase police presence in high-crime areas downtown, in the Ballpark Neighborhood and the Jordan River area. The plan includes placing security cameras at parks, enforcing park curfews and improving responses to businesses affected by crime.

Palmer Court in Salt Lake City is hoping to redesign its supportive housing campus and potentially add more housing units in the future.
