In just his second season with New England Patriots in the NFL, former Oregon Ducks cornerback Christian Gonzalez has been named Second-Team All-Pro by the Associated Press, just days after being snubbed for the Pro Bowl.

Christian Gonzalez and Brenden Schooler were each named All-Pros by The Associated Press for the 2024 season on Friday. Gonzalez was placed on the second team, receiving 32 total points in the vote. As he received four first-place votes, Gonzalez edged out Browns cornerback Denzel Ward by nine points for the final All-Pro spot.

In 16 starts, Gonzalez has routinely covered the opposing team’s best wide receiver. He has two interceptions, 11 passes defended, and 59 total tackles.
