Based on recent seasons, there seemingly was an inevitably of this moment, the Miami Heat dealing with injury uncertainty with Jimmy Butler.

While Butler has been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Timberwolves, Heat backup center Kevin Love is off the injury report and is expected to make his season debut in Minneapolis. Love missed the first five games of the season because of personal reasons and sat out the last three games as he worked his way back into game shape.

He sustained the injury as Butler was driving on Denver guard Jamal Murray as when he stopped abruptly, he turned his ankle, which garnered a vivid reaction of pain. While he would be in for a few more possessions, he would go straight to the locker room after being subbed out.
