In last days of his presidency, Biden adds more protected sites to a long list of conservation accomplishments

Gov. Gavin Newsom celebrated President Joe Biden’s decision to officially establish the Chuckwalla and Sáttítla National Monuments in eastern Riverside County and the Medicine Lake Highlands in Northern California,

With these two new monuments, Mr. Biden has protected more federal land and waters than any other president, about 674 million acres.
