Authorities in Türkiye have detained 11 people as part of an investigation into a fire that broke out at a ski resort hotel in northern Bolu province as the death toll rose to 79, officials said Wednesday.

Yerlikaya noted that search-and-rescue operations at the fire site had been completed. He also expressed condolences to the families of the victims and to the people of Türkiye. The minister stated that the bodies of 52 victims had been identified by their families.
