World number 4 Collin Morikawa is one of three golfers who have announced their withdrawal from the upcoming Farmers Insurance Open on Sunday.

The PGA Tour stays in California for the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines. The tournament runs Wednesday through Saturday to avoid the NFL conference championships.

Since the start of the 2025 season, the golf world has been rocked by an unusual number of withdrawals from top players with the likes of Scottie Scheffler and Xander Schauffele being the most notable.

Morikawa had a positive experience at the Farmers Insurance Open two years ago, finishing third, while last year, he didnt make the cut.

Next week, the PGA Tour stays in California but heads to San Diego for the 2025 Farmers Insurance at Torrey Pines.
