Pete Alonso's free agency has lasted significantly longer than anyone expected. When the offseason began, Alonso was considered a shoo-in to re-sign with the New York Mets, the only team he's ever known.

This free agency period might not have gone the way Pete Alonso anticipated but the four-time All-Star reportedly isn't looking to make any changes to his representation. Per Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet: "A source said MLB agents have recently been informed they cannot contact Pete Alonso.
