LEWIS HAMILTON has crashed during Ferrari testing in Barcelona. The seven-time Formula One world champion has been preparing for the new season by getting to grips with his new Ferrari hardware.
Ferrari chief Fred Vasseur has issued a statement regarding Lewis Hamilton’s replacement of Carlos Sainz at the Formula 1 team. The announcement that Hamilton had signed for Ferrari in 2024 shocked not only the F1 paddock and audience but also the team's former driver Carlos Sainz.
Hamilton lost control of his Ferrari on Wednesday at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, in his third overall day of driving for his new F1 team. But he was unhurt by the incident, which has now been described as a “minor crash” by Sky Sports.
It seems as though Lewis Hamilton might still be figuring out his footing at Ferrari's testing days. At least, based on the fact that the seven-time Formula 1 champion crashed during his second test day with the team, while testing in Spain.
