Microsoft Teams meetings are getting a new interpreter feature that lets each participant speak or listen in the language of their choosing. Interpreter in Teams uses real-time AI-powered speech-to-speech translation to simulate your speaking voice during meetings.

Often, when a file is shared in a Teams chat, users aren't able to read through and digest in quickly, but the new feature, coming in preview in early 2025 will be able to quickly summarize the content so the user can understand the main points without opening the file.

Microsoft Teams users will soon be able to use cloned versions of their voices to speak and translate conversation in real time, as the company unveils its new, AI-powered Interpreter tool.
