Terrifying video shows the horrific crash that took place in Auburn, WA, over the weekend when a speeding Amtrak train collided with a semi-truck. The incident occurred Saturday at roughly 10:18 a.m.

Everyone aboard an Amtrak train passing through Auburn is thankful to be safe after the locomotive crashed into a stuck semi-truck.

An Amtrak train carrying 157 passengers hit a semitruck on the tracks in Auburn. A driver and the passenger escaped, and no train passengers were hurt.

The truck made a wrong turn and became stuck on the train tracks at the intersection of B St NW and 29th St NW, according to Valley Regional Fire. At around 10:20 a.m. on Jan. 18, the Amtrak train car hit the truck while the conductor was blowing the train whistle.

By the time I looked over the train was right there. Just jumped out. Yeah, it was real close. So I had like a good three seconds to get out.”
