The air quality index (AQI) of Los Angeles was recorded at 158 on January 10, far better than the air quality of Delhi which is infamous for smog. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD),

Already known for having some of the worst air quality in the U.S., people in Southern California are now also at risk of inhaling smoke.

Los Angeles County in the US has been battling devastating wildfires for the past few days. However, astonishingly, even amidst the natural calamity, LA's air remains significantly cleaner than that of Delhi.
