An Aurora municipal judge found the property presents “an imminent threat to public safety and welfare,” city officials said Monday.

The City of Aurora is moving forward with plans to close The Edge at Lowry apartment complex at 12th and Dallas after a municipal judge in Colorado granted an emergency order.

A judge has granted an emergency order to close the Edge of Lowery Apartments saying the complex is a threat to public safety. The City of Aurora requested that order last week. A month after they agreed with the property managers it needed to close.
