Former Frasier co-stars Kelsey Grammer and Peri Gilpin say they are thrilled to be working together again on a sequel series after a nearly 20-year break. Season 2 of the new Frasier premieres Thursday on Paramount+ "It's fantastic.

More than 30 years after they started playing Frasier and Roz, the two stars talk about their first meeting, their BFF spark, and coming together again for the “Frasier” reboot.

“We’ve done some smooching,” Kelsey Grammer says (but remains coy) when TV Insider brings up a photo of his character (Frasier Cane) and Peri Gilpin ‘s (Roz) that has been released for Frasier Season 2. (See it below.)

When the Paramount+ subscription-exclusive Frasier revival aired its first season last year, only two other familiar faces from the original Frasier also stopped by: Bebe Neuwirth’s Lilith Sternin and Peri Gilpin’s Roz Doyle.

Season 2 will keep the memories coming when the good doctor heads back to Seattle for one episode and reunites with Bulldog ( Dan Butler ), Gil ( Edward Hibbert ), Bebe ( Harriet Samsom Harris ), and, of course, Roz ( Peri Gilpin ), on the newly rebuilt KACL radio set.

With Season 2 of the Paramount+ "Frasier" revival looking more like "Frasier" than ever before, Grammer tells IndieWire why his iconic character still works in the streaming age.
