Spotify and Warner Music Group struck a new multi-year licensing deal covering music and music publishing similar to a recent agreement with Universal Music.

Warner Music Group and streaming platform Audiomack have agreed to expand their current licensing deal, signed in 2019, to include 47 additional countries — including much of Europe and Africa and the Caribbean.

The new multi-year agreement comes as Warner Music Group announced it had purchased a controlling stake in Tempo Music. The catalog company owns rights to songs by Wiz Khalifa, Florida Georgia Line, and Shane McAnally, with Billboard reporting the WMG acquisition deal to be worth “several hundred million dollars.”
