The gasoline pumps at the Maine Turnpike Authority’s West Gardiner service plaza are operational again after a shutdown that lasted approximately 12 hours.A technician working to fix the gas pumps told Maine’s Total Coverage reporter Jackie Mundry that one of the pumps malfunctioned at about 2 a.

The Maine Turnpike Authority says there is currently no gasoline available at the West Gardiner service plaza due to pump issues. The MTA's Traffic Management Center made the announcement shortly after 9 a.

Maine's Total Coverage has learned one gas pump malfunctioned and because of the gas station's sensor system, all of the pumps shut down for safety.
