The fifth and final DLC level for Astro Bot is now available to play. Coming as part of the latest game update, the free new stage, Rising Heat, rounds out Team Asobi's collection of time trial stages.

Astro Bot DLC trophies have completed their first wave, meaning you can now unlock six trophies for clearing stages in the Stellar Speedway.

Reddit user pkowswald noted that, even with the additional two bots released in today's DLC, there are still several game franchises such as Assassin's Creed and Rayman credited in Astro Bot despite not having individual bots of their own.

Astro Bot received a warm reception from critics and fans alike when the dinky platformer dropped on PS5 back in September. Since then, more than 1.5m copies have been sold. "Sony's glossy mascot gets an outing filled with imagination and loving craft," Chris Donlan wrote, awarding it top marks in Eurogamer's Astro Bot review .

The last free Astro Bot DLC was released by Team ASOBI, but the title’s credits were recently updated including cameos of bots that haven't debuted.
