Close to a year after its launch on PlayStation 5, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is escaping from Midgar and entering into the wider world of PC gaming. The second part of Final Fantasy 7 's Remake trilogy is out on January 23, and with how much Square Enix is promoting the release – including showing off this Chocobo-themed Steam Deck – there's expectation that this port will be better than the much-criticised PC version of Remake.

"That means upon launch on January 23, you’ll be able to play the critically acclaimed RPG on a train, on a plane, swaddled up in bed, in the bathroom… wherever you want," Square Enix wrote. "It’s fine—we won’t judge."
