The demonstration is one of the biggest in years against alleged pro-government bias by the RTS television station.

BELGRADE, Serbia (AP) — Tens of thousands of protesters led by university students held a noisy rally Friday outside Serbia’s state television headquarters in Belgrade to protest what they called the broadcaster's pro-government bias. The rally came a day after one student was seriously injured when a driver rammed his car into a protesting crowd.

Tens of thousands of anti-government protesters in Belgrade on Friday stood in silence in front of the state television RTS building for 15 minutes to commemorate victims of a railway station roof collapse for which they blame Serbian authorities.

Tens of thousands of Serbians protested outside the public broadcaster to demand objective reporting. There have been daily street protests throughout the Balkan country since November last year.
