Jul 12, 2022 · .3ds files are for Citra. .cia for a real 3DS. Alpha Sapphire, Ultra Moon, Pokemon X all work great with the nightly build. Pokemon X/Y should be about 1.7-2GiB Pokemon Ultra Sun/Moon should be about 4GiB. Alpha Sapphire should be about 1.8 GiB

Aug 24, 2020 · .cia is for playing on a real 3DS .3ds is for playing in the Citra emulator You can convert .3ds to .cia to play on a real 3DS but the one time I tried it, it didn't work. I may have been using a bad or outdated tool though.

May 17, 2022 · Place those .cia files within the [cias] folder of your Micro SD Card, then get back into your 3DS, open FBI, go into [SD], then into [cias], and you will be able to download the games into your 3DS from there (download and delete CIA - something like that), you will see the games wrapped in present boxes in the home screen after that
