As for duct-taping the wrists and ankles, what is SOP, but at times, esp moving around, digging, etc. skin gets exposed, or openings open up, regardless of how careful I am.

Just because an implement is lightweight doesn't mean it can't really hurt! Speeding up the rate between swats greatly affects the sensation.

One of them said his skin starting burning again when he took a hot shower the next morning because the heat opened the pores, but after that he was fine.
Which is easier, a fiberglass cast or walking boot?
Oct 23, 2023 · Swelling, bruising, etc has since then gone down, but my podiatrist is recommending either a walking boot or fiberglass cast to protect the ankle while it re-heals. I've tried a walking boot, from Amazon , and it's somewhat unwieldy and heavy, especially when walking up/down stairs.

Oct 21, 2013 · The swelling won't push the ink out--I have a tattoo on my foot/ankle, and last year it swelled Very Dramatically (think grapefruit) for the better part of a month when I twisted it. The tattoo looked slightly weird, but as soon as the swelling down it went right back to normal, no ink loss or permanent warping.

Jun 8, 2014 · The next day I got an oil change, then drove the car like normal. But, after putting another 1,000 miles on it, the low oil pressure light blinked on again and the car was 3 quarts low. So, I got another oil change. Burning oil at this rate seems unsustainable, so time to face the music and fix my mistake.
